I initiated a one-to-one meeting with the property manager, with whom I had a long conversation about opportunities for improvement. I am pleased to see that some of my feedback is already being implemented (for example, the trash bag that was hanging from the tree has finally been removed!). Please read before signing a lease. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place isn’t worth the money. HVAC issues: Heat and AC have been unreliable since move-in. I’ve gone days without heat in winter and AC in extreme heat. Management’s “fixes” were unsafe or ineffective. Some units are worse than others so ask very specific questions before signing. Probably the worst communication I've ever had. I toured the complex on the 20th as I wanted a quick move-in date of the 27th. I found the apartment I liked, and it is ready now. The salesperson pushed me to apply with her and said it would be fast to process, so I did since I liked it. I was then told I needed income verification and to complete some bank forms, which were sent right after I left, and I filled them out right away. Being a local business owner I feel the need to warn future residents about the experience that I have had living here. This may be long but take the time to read so you may miss out on the misfortunes that I experienced. There has been a constant lack of communication among staff members with any issues regarding maintenance requests and lease agreements. Update: The owner reply told a boldfaced lie. The furniture was in fact left for exactly 11 days (timestamped pictures for everyday it was left there impeding cleaning crew work and general walkability). So no- it wasnt just for a move in. To add to this “cleanliness” comment addressed- i suggest asking to see the ground floor on touring to get a wiff of the smell lofting down the hall from the trash shoot.
